While searching for beautiful furniture for our dollhouse I discovered the Sweet Dollhouse and was immediately in l o v e! And I was searching long long time I can tell you! Some years for sure. There are so many everywhere, yes this is true. But I absolutely didn’t like the colors and shapes. Everything I have found was a little bit old fashioned and nothing I wanted my children to play with.

I am happy I have found the Sweet Dollhouse and this happiness I don’t want to keep for myself, I want to share it with you! Because I am sure you are going to like this cute dollhouse furniture as much as I do!

Dear Natascha, it is so wonderful to have you here with us today. Please tell us more about you.

I’m Natascha Maks, I’m 35 years old.
I have 2 lovely children. A daughter of 6 years old and a boy who is 4 years old. I worked 10 years at the kindergarten. When I lost my brother in 2009 by a car accident I wanted to do something with my creativity, to reduce the sadness and to feel better. I opened a shop Kidsware. Kidsware was also my own label, I made decoration for kids rooms and all these were sold in 15 shops. I also started the Sweet Dollhouse shop one year ago. Later on I got very ill of Lyme disease and I was not able to do all that work. So I have sold the Kidsware to go fully for Sweet Dollhouse. And now I can finally say that it is going better with me, so I can do what I like the most… making miniatures.

Oh, this is a very touching story… Thank you for telling us about it and for your confidence.

And how did you get the idea of creating the Sweet Dollhouse?

I get the idea of Sweet Dollhouse when I saw a picture of a pastel modern dollhouse at Facebook. I loved it so much. And I started to make a small project, decorating a room box. I showed it at social media and the people liked it. So I made more decorated room boxes and I started the Sweet Dollhouse shop. And now I sell furnitures and decoration of others, but I also make miniatures by myself for the Sweet Dollhouse shop.

So which dollhouse decoration did you make by yourself?
I made the wall farmhouse cupboard by myself, some poster prints, coasters, placemats, garlands, handbags, plates and biscuit tins. And there is a lot more to come in the next period 🙂

For me the Sweet Dollhouse is all about great „love for details“. What does Sweet Dollhouse mean to you?

Sweet Dollhouse means for me details, pastels, farmhouse style and things that makes you smile!
While selecting furniture I always think, whether it makes me and others happy. This is the mot important selection criteria.
