{DIY} Tree candles

There is nothing more cozy and inviting than a candlelight atmosphere. No matter if it is cold outside and you drink your cup of tea wrapped in a soft blanket  or you enjoy a nice drink during a summer night in the gardcn. No matter what season candles are always a good idea!

How adorable a candle can be when it is something you made with your own hands? I have already shown you a tutorial for TWISTED CANDLES here and you loved them.

This DIY TREE CANDLES are cute and magical at the same time. And I have to say that I was immediately in love as I saw them by my friend Jonna @jonnatykkaa on her instagram. They are so easy to make! Would you like to try them out?

Actually there is a IGTV-Video on MY INSTAGRAM, but so many of you wanted a classical blog tutorial. So you can imagine that I couldn’t say no 🙂

Here we go!

What you need:

  • candles
  • hot water
  • sharp knife

How to make:

  • put the candles in the hot water
  •  let them soften 5 minutes
  • cut as shown in the video

Please put the candles immediately in a candle holder to avoid break of the “tree branches” you have cut!

I highly recommend you so look at the tutorial IGTV-Video on MY INSTAGRAM.

I have never thought I would still decorate with this tree candles after the winter months. But I just can’t get enough of them. I think they are also wonderful between winter and spring. A nice contrast with the fresh blooming branches, are you agree?

Enjoy this DIY and show me your magical tree candles!

Have a wonderful evening,
